Relationship with Time

I have a grave relationship with time, I brush hair out of my face and stare at a beautiful girl on the subway and a whole day has gone by
I mean, it's like, I get down to tie my shoelaces and two weeks pass
Yeah time passes like shit on diarrhea, time spins like an information officer at Shell, time turns, time flies, time just goes by - too fast
It's starting to become for me a grave reality that one day I'll go to work come home and find that I have a family
I can lie on my couch and the months just sneaks me by all stealthy like I can watch a series first episode to the last and a decade has been lost on me
And still:

When you're twentyfive your whole life is ahead of you
And when you're fifty your whole life is ahead of you
And then when you're eighty your whole life is ahead of you
Time, just like life, travels in second per second and one minute in a minute and it does and an hour in an hour flat
The most irrelevant thing to think of the most valuable thing you'll ever have to spend
Me and Time we should come to and understanding
every now and then it's OK to stop and stand and do nothing and have nothing affect you
And in return, every now and then it'll be OK to skip a day like for instance this week there'll be no mondays, I'm OK with that Time, I can live with that I can sign that deal
